This project was brought to us by another industry professional to help with the logistically challenging access. Due to steep tight stairs this we had to coordinate with sub trades to have machinery and materials barged in to excavate and clear the space. Once the excavation was completed, natural boulder retaining walls were built with stairs leading down to the beach. Fill and gravel was brought in to bring the elevation of the green area up. The only material not barged in was the turf itself. During construction, and definitely once completed, this job was a head turner for the many visitors to the local marina, especially the chipping mat installed on the dock for an ever changing approach shot!
